Dr. Hardage has been Pastor of four churches, interim Pastor of five churches, is a former Associational Director of Missions, and served as a Development Officer. He has also had the privilege of serving on various Texas Baptists committees and boards. He was appointed as executive director in January 2012 by the Baptist General Convention of Texas(Texas Baptists). A hallmark of Hardage’s tenure was his weekly visits to Texas Baptists churches across the state and beyond. He traveled by invitation to visit congregations, meet with pastors and church leaders and share the story of what God was doing through the collaborative ministry of the Convention. He retired following more than ten years of service in the Fall of 2022 and looks forward to the days ahead for God’s will.
