George is the Lead Pastor of Sheffield Family Life Center, a multi-cultural, multi-generational megachurch in the Urban Core of Kansas City, MO. He has served in a variety of other communities and capacities (youth, evangelism, executive, TV and radio host, drummer, various executive boards, and national committees)
George also serves as the Assistant Superintendent of the Southern Missouri Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. He is married to Annette; they have three children and two grandchildren.
If we are to empower the Church, we must first be empowered through recognition, understanding, and the implementation of practical leadership methodologies. We can begin to more effectively gain these building blocks as we are nurtured in an honest, direct, and relevant manner that focuses on some of the positive facets and common pitfalls of leading, following, and empowering leaders.
In this workshop, you will be presented with pointed concerns, challenges, and principles that can help make you a more effective leader. The purpose of this session is to empower leaders and ultimately empower the church.
