The popular church model of leadership in most churches is not only unbiblical but also ineffective. This session will illuminate what the scripture says about Christ’s model for the Church. We will look at how to implement the team approach to ministry with teams that built from spiritual gifts and following the example of Christ’s leadership.
About Speaker
Jerry Lawson, founder and Lead Pastor of Daystar Church in North Alabama, found his calling alongside his wife Leslie in their hometown of Eufaula. Together, they've been blessed with two daughters and a son. Daystar Church began with around 100 individuals from Cullman, Alabama, and has since expanded into a multi-site faith family spanning North Alabama and Uganda. Pastor Jerry's focus isn't on numbers but on witnessing Christ's transformative power in individuals and communities. He mentors pastors through a program called 24 to Double, serving churches worldwide. Pastor Jerry emphasizes the unique impact of Jesus, stating, "Nobody else has a JESUS!"
